Do You Have a Social Media Strategy or Are You “Lurking” in the Shadows?

Are you just “listening in the shadows” or are you truly engaging with your customers – internal and external – through social media?

What do you hope to accomplish through social media sites and tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Slideshare, and others? And if you have a defined strategy in place, are you continuously monitoring, sharing, updating, and pursuing followers? Or, are you passive in your on-line presence?

Social media can be a powerful and strategic way to keep customers (current and potential), employees (current and future), and stakeholders engaged with your company, your brand, and what you’ve been accomplishing. There is no such thing as a passive social media strategy…it’s dead on arrival!
